Roaring 20s coming for the well off if vaccines start to really knock this down in the fall, at least until if/when the Fed is forced to raise rates. Boom times gonna be a bit further out for the paycheck to paycheck crowd dealing with a year plus of rent modifications. Seems like society going to get much more two-tiered.
Hint: cash out before October 29. And by cash I mean the green paper and stuff it in a mattress.

Paper money is suboptimal for this use case. If youāre anticipating something like that, physical gold is the way to go.

Itās not my ābusiness.ā I also donāt care if they move to NY, or move to the house next door to mine. However I know that if they donāt get a court date and process an asylum claim theyāre always going to live the life of a second class citizen under the laws as they exist right now. So, yeah, they should get a court date.
Yeah mounds of cash as millions lose their homes when eviction moratorium ends and they donāt have the money to catch up.
I honestly think gold becomes worthless the minute the crap really hits the fan in and end of days world.
There will be a bunch of resources people will need and nobody will be trading them for gold.

Agree, but I thought he was just talking about a massive market crash and not āend of days worldā. I donāt think former necessarily gets you to the latter.

I mean gold has always been considered valuable even in like the super ancient civilizations. You need something everyone agreeās is rare to base some kind of currency on to have some type of trade. Like sure people will need gas, guns, power etc, but gold will likely be the main currency if all economic systems collapses.
I never see society getting to that point though in our lifetime barring a large astroid or some type of plague that kills 50%+ of people.
Listening to Dan Carlin its actually pretty common for whole systems to collapse and for us to " regress " into dark ages. Happened after ancient Assyrians fell, happened after the western roman empire fell, and despite both times us going back to super basic tribes with almost no civilization gold was still seen as valuable.
