The Presidency of Donald J. Trump v5.0: ORANGE Gettin' PEACHed, Nation Goes PEANUT BUTTER & BANANAS

The new ICIG complaint alleged that the donations through the GoFundMe page indeed constitute a “gift” for a federal employee, and that they were made due to the whistleblower’s official "status, authority or duties." It further alleged that the whistleblower and his legal team appeared to be exploiting their access to classified information.

Maybe it’s all surface level and I’m 4-D chessing myself, but is it confirmed that the whistleblower is a current government employee? I thought all we know is that the person has (or had) a high security clearance. Kind of crafty imo if this is a strategy to confirm whether the WB is a current federal employee.

Nance is off my shit list for today. She intermittently drops bombs like this and then reverts to being a doddering old fool.

That’s how she keeps you hooked. So outraged 360 days out of the year that we’re intoxicated the few times she blasts fools.

Technically she’s not a boomer either. She’s too old for that.

Not wavering even a little bit. You all only like her on occasion because you can’t even imagine the Democrats giving an actually good Speaker the opportunity to do the job.

Do a lot of people who are these poor normal Trump loving racists own iPhones? Do they frequently tune into Apple News? Come on man. And I guess I have to bomb you with headlines again to prove you wrong.

CNN:

  • Pelosi: What Trump did almost makes Nixon look small
  • Breaking: Russia likely heard ambassador’s cell phone call with Trump
  • Analysis: Bill Taylor is Trump’s nightmare
  • Opinion: Voting for Trump cost me my friends

Washington Post:

  • Pelosi calls Trump’s actions ‘bribery’ as Democrats sharpen impeachment case
  • Analysis: Why ‘bribery’ is Democrats’ new impeachment focus
  • Analysis: What you learned about the hearing depended on the channel you watched
  • Republicans’ conspiracy theories slam into sworn testimony in collision of divergent worlds
  • How Rep. Adam Schiff avoided a circus
  • Republicans tried to make him a ‘star witness.’ Instead Bill Taylor became a meme.

There are others, but here are the top 5 read on WaPo:

  1. Live Updates: A second State Department official overheard Trump’s call with E.U. envoy discussing Ukraine and ‘investigations’
  2. Two dead, at least 3 injured at Los Angeles-area high school; suspect in custody
  3. Perspective: One of the defenses of Trump is – literally – a TV-cartoon joke
  4. The Bill Taylor meme story
  5. The '60s tore my family apart. Acid made it worse.

New York Times:

  • Invoking the Constitution, Pelosi Points to Possible Bribery Charge
  • Trump’s Choice: National Security or Political Obsession
  • Analysis: Compelling Testimony, but No Minds Changed So Far
  • Opinion: Republicans’ Best Defense Is a Bad Offense
  • Opinion: This Is Not a Game The first public hearing in the impeachment proceedings was sad, yet necessary.
  • Opinion: The Evidence of Wrongdoing by Trump Is Overwhelming
  • Opinion: Republicans Want to Turn the Impeachment Hearings Into ‘Judge Judy’

Yahoo:

Not so great, nothing really hitting hard, just a little area below main news dedicated to impeachment and several headlines that are similar to the ones above.

MSN:

  • Impeachment hearing is number 2 trender (it links to an NYT article)
  • Just three other stories related to impeachment right now in the arrow click through stories

We should get a pretty good idea of what TV ratings looked like at least on cable for yesterday’s hearing in a couple of hours. My hope is north of 15 million combined.

Yeah, because then the silent majority actually started voting. The silent majority was right wing Christians who never voted.

They just want to know what day the WB was at the committee. That’s all they want to know. Why is that a big deal? You’re thinking to deep here.

Oh and check out my little montage video of Devin Nunes’ opening statement yesterday just to remind yourself what we’re up against. They are not sending their best.

I dunno, maybe I’m cynical, but I don’t put a lot of my hope in society on iPhone users’ Apple News consumption habits. iPhone owner is basically a class of people, regardless of how wrong that feeling might be.

And the process is unfair, Trump has no defense.

Thanks for ruining a perfectly good ‘article I didn’t read’ bomb.

You mean a “trekker?”

I have an iPhone and had no idea there was such a thing as “Apple News”. I literally get all my news from this forum.

I’m the problem, aren’t I? :face_with_head_bandage:

No, you prove my thesis. Keep at it.

Pretty sure that was the Moral Majority.

I’m sure that was their play on words to say that they were the ‘majority’ they were talking about in the ‘silent majority’.

I look forward to the Speaker AOC era when she spends 360 days out o the year blasting fools and five days a year pissing us off somehow.
