The transporter accident from 1 is still one of the most horrific things I’ve seen in any film.
Never got all the hate for ST1. It’s my fav. But I’m m a contrarian bugger so that has a lot to do with it.
Read that he’s also the 5th person to lead the department in the past three years. If there’s one thing I know, it’s that lots of turnover of leadership does wonders to an organization.

Yo moron. The “star” witnesses stared straight ahead with blank looks because they realize its not their job to determine whether you are impeached. They are there as fact witnesses. Congress determines whether the offenses are impeachable.

Me too. The V(oya)ger storyline was original and quite clever I thought at the time - and with zero knowledge of what the film would be about except that it was Star Trek - The Motion Picture, and I was 13, I really enjoyed it and remember it fondly.
What’s going on? Oh not much, just a president in the middle of impeachment but let’s talk about Star Trek instead.

I think you are a good poster Matty and this is not specifically aimed at you but I like a lot of the derails (yeah even the the nun/cuse shit every few weeks - easy enough to scroll thru) as they remind me that we all take ourselves far too seriously on here. We are all pretty similar to the rupes in that we also have our own petty narrow agendas that we weight disproportionately above all others. So whilst this ‘new’ plot line of open hearing is upon us nothing really groundbreaking has happened. We didn’t find the cure for cancer or a new type of wonder energy just more evidence that we continue to vote for dicks because we can’t be arsed to do it ourselves. It just like the man said ‘same as it ever was’.
TNG was shit btw.
