It’s kind of funny to me that they cared so much about getting Ukraine to do this. Like sure, that may be considered more credible by the mainstream media than the Barr DOJ doing it… But do we really doubt for a second that the Barr DOJ opening an investigation into the nominee isn’t going to generate tons of mainstream media coverage when it happens?
It’ll create the aura of vague corruption that they’re after.

This has been clear since the day they changed the Republican Party platform during the 2016 convention vis a vis providing lethal aid to Ukraine, then tried to sweep it under the rug. Our media is stupid/corrupt for pretending it was an open question since then.
I specifically recall numerous posters discussing that as it happened on this forum (well, the old forum, you know the old old forum).

I’m quoting from the tweet, so it’s going to show up as if SMacc said this stuff, but it’s actually in the tweet he posted. Not sure how to easily fix it, so I’m just noting it here.
Lawyers can maybe help with this, but I assume this is because the information should not be made public until the full public has trading access? By tweeting it out early, he’s allowing people with pre-market trading access to trade on the info ahead of the public.
Also my first instinct was “38 minutes, not so bad!” but the worst-case scenario is something close enough to open that the trading class is all awake, trading, etc and has access to trade… but with enough time to get their trades in ahead of the public. So, 30-40 minutes seems pretty optimal for them.
A huge LOL at “adjusting for Census.” Can we go back and adjust all of Obama’s job numbers “for Census.” Like what the fuck does that actually even mean? lol

I feel like these people were born so priveleged and got their personal prayers answered so many times that they aren’t aware of just how many people have prayed for things that didn’t happen through human history. Right now some poor Kurdish person is praying that everything will be OK, but they are in fact going to be on the receiving end of a war crime.
These people think not having your prayers answered is only something that happens to other people. I’m sincerely looking forward to their prayers to fade federal prosecution not coming true.

This guy Daniel Dale is insane. How could somebody willingly do what he’s doing? It seems like complete torture.

The thing where you do campaign rallies throughout the entire term was pretty far out too. Also, running a hotel down the street from the White House should have been a much bigger problem on day 1.
