My sister (early 20s), who is a socialist activist, was 3/4 in on Wayfairgate. She wasnât 100% sure if it was true, but she tried real hard to convince me why it made total sense. How can these names be the first names of missing women? Makes ya think.
Imo it all must have something to do with people being trapped inside that turns them on to these fringe ideas. It seems to hit across the whole ideological spectrum.

We have seen a fake Elon account tweeting that stuff for a long time now. I assume they have done it with others.
I heard from an employee at wayfair and they said they would have drawings to choose employee names for products. Apparently naming such furniture products after people is not uncommon in many companies.
The wayfair story falls apart instantly for me as it is ten magnitudes too complicated to do what they are alleged to want to do. There is no real benefit to having an open system like that. Then I hear people saying it didnât get you a kid, but just showed interest so you could be vetted. It is all very stupid to me. And I donât say that as some kind of snob. I will always hear a conspiracy out but this one had nothing from the start.
