Latter still would’ve been tough, biden wouldn’t have been a good candidate in Michigan or Wisconsin in 16. He definitely could’ve done well enough to win the EC though.
(I do agree on HRC beating him in the primary)

You just cannot make this stuff up.
Nah, Biden would have been great in Mich and Wisconsin. He’s a white guy, and at that time, not even a senile one.
Hilary haters were numerous. No one really hated Biden. That would have made him the ideal notTrump.
This is pretty much my take as well. Obviously in a super close election there are many factors, but sexism obviously was a big one in 2016. To think that it only would have mattered in the general and not the primary would be a mistake IMO. I think the Democratic Party still has a lot of that to deal with, and we’ve also come a long way in that regard since 2016… This is a big part of why I think Biden would have won the nomination.
Simpsons s6 election episode Sideshow Bob vs Mayor Quimby is prescient.
Krusty voting for Bob:
“Well, he framed me for armed robbery, but man, I’m aching for that upper-class tax cut.”
Yeah that’s dead on…right down to him realizing it actually affects someone he knows…then two seconds later not caring about that anymore
Not just that, the mayor realizing he has a political issue on his hands (bear tax). Well its the immigrants fault.
Now seems to be a good time to remind you that you were so scared of then non-entity Joe Biden that you got impeached trying to stop him from winning a nomination very few people thought he had a chance of getting. Your idiocy did a great job of amplifying him, so good job good effort and stuff.
Not much tilts me from Trump these days except for his bragging about “shutting it off”. Not only did he not do that he got started whining and carrying on about reopening like 3 weeks after states started shutting down. As a result the lockdown proved ineffective ultimately and probably 200,000+ needless deaths will happen by the election and many more than that as we head into next year.

They must have Hannibal Lechtered him up last night during the DNC to keep him from live tweeting.
I can think of a bigger difference
Using the high end of CDC estimates there were a total of 89.3 million cases of H1N1 and 18,306 deaths.
10 times the deaths in ~1/16th as many cases, working hard!
