Believe it or not, the Electoral College electors for Biden would be free to vote for whoever they feel like, just like normal except there aren’t any established norms to vote for the person they were elected to vote for.

But yeah they can basically vote for anyone.
Yeah they are basically always going to vote for Harris. Electors are usually from the appropriate party so they don’t have any gain to do something nuts.

No the danger would just be splitting them and throwing the election to Trump in the House. Kamala would say it should be her, and I think most would agree, but Bernie fans might push for him since Kamala dropped out of the primary so early.
I’m thinking due to how obvious he’s being with USPS that more dems will vote in person and those who vote by mail will send it in way early to ensure it makes it.
There will still be more dems voting via mail later in the process than reps so it’s still taking away ev from swing states but not gonna swing something like NY
