I live in what has to be the most white-flighty area of America, and as you’d expect I’m now surrounded by a bunch of middle aged white folks who all passionately support Trump and range from quietly doing so to raising literal knights templar flags in their front yard. It’s obscene and I’m SO glad we opted to rent instead of buy as now we know WTF is going on and will be leaving ASAP.
But these same folks put on what’s called a “Trump-tilla” which is some kind of small armada and celebration by on-lookers of all things MAGA. It’s pretty rage inducing TBH, and if my family wasn’t comprised of non-white people who’d feel decidedly unsafe by my trolling efforts I’d be raising flags of Obama’s face and doing most anything possible to make the lives of these fools less comfortable during my lease’s term.
I accepted a couple Facebook invites by neighbors and afterwards folks have become decidedly more cold towards us, which isn’t coincidental as my political views are pretty pointedly expressed on FB, so all pretenses are dropped at this point. It’s completely necessary to remain neutral and polite, but man the impulse to troll is so strong. So strong.

Ive heard a few people at work spouting some of it. Mostly the mild stuff like microchips in vaccines, not JFK jr coming back to save us. But yeah…people being stuck in their homes with nothing to do but go down rabbit holes is having an affect.
