The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Unconstitutional Slop

Nah. With the EO he took complete ownership of the unemployment situation. The inevitable over promise under deliver is on him now. He may poll a little better for a few weeks until people realize their Donnie Bucks aren’t coming but this is a massive loser for Trump unless Nancy bails him out.

Holy crap he sounds and looks like a completely different person.

Now, he can barely talk and appears 100 pounds heavier than 4 years ago.

He has to be a pretty strong favorite to die during a second term, assuming he gets one.

Even the hardline supporters are less excited about Trump. I can hear it in the voices of the deplorables in my family. Their rationale for voting Trump in 2020 is basically our rationale for voting Hillary in 2016.

This right here. He made the situation slightly better for himself for the next week or two but massively worse after that. If Nancy does let him out it should be in exchange for a substantial win.

Oh.

Unfortunately we live in the timeline where Nancy always bails Donnie out here.

I’m sure that the way she sees it her job is to minimize the damage he can do. She also sucks at messaging so thinks she’s doing that as well as possible too lol.

They should pass a resolution.

Wherein the House of Representatives of the United States recognizes that the President of the United States is in steep cognitive decline with a poor memory, and

Wherein the House of Representatives of the United States recognizes that it’s been almost three months since it passed the HEROES Act to extend unemployment insurance at $600/mo and give essential workers a bonus, and

Wherein the Senate of the United States refuses to vote on the HEROES Act or pass any similar measure,

The House of Representatives of the United States hereby reminds the Senate of the United States to vote on the HEROES Act and the President of the United States to sign it.

… Let’s try that news cycle on for size, shall we?

I’ve seen references to this as well, just lol

Agreed. The democrats are united behind a plan they have already gotten passed in one House.

The Republicans, as the only thing they know how to do in the 21st century is obstruct and destroy.

My concern is the democrats will go through all this and still totally cave. I hope that doesn’t happen.

However they should be making a “tick tick tick” sound while changing things the republicans want one by one.

The republicans are facing a total eradication in November, something everyone, including UP, previously thought impossible. The democrats just need to reiterate that they want to help the people and republicans the 1%. Repubiicans arguing fiscal conservatism right now will fall on deaf ears.

The mind blown gif part is there is a REAL kid sex trafficking ring and their hero is at the epicenter of it.

That’s what they want you to think. WAKE UP!

I agree with this. The republicans need to pass a bill in the senate so they put their cards on the table. Republicans crying it needs bipartisan support is absurd. Get your party in line Mitch.

It’s almost like they don’t want to help people that are struggling!

It’s a literal rebranding of the 80s molestation witch hunts.

There’s a good chance Trump starts actively courting Qanon out of desperation.

Polling pundits are tearing this poll apart.

Can you imagine the hysteria if he tweeted out verbatim the thing that they think means the start of the purge or whatever? “the storm is here” or something?

yea i’ve seen Nates tweets and didn’t make the connection lol, he did say this at the end.

edit: i dunno if that means just for those groups or for the poll altogether, i guess just those groups.
