The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Unconstitutional Slop

The cafe car is pretty grim, but the dining car on long haul routes is fairly decent ime.

Because that would be socialism. Public transportation is communism. We see that in Japan, a nation that is definitely not a capitalist, business-oriented society. Japan is a communist hellhole, that is why their trains run on time.

Dammit, I should have have tried harder to learn the language when I had the chance. I was a precocious high school student and they said ā€œHereā€™s a new 46-letter alphabet you need to memorize.ā€ And I was like, okay. And then they said, ā€œHereā€™s another 46-letter alphabet we use just for foreign words. Itā€™s dumb as fuck, but you have to memorize it.ā€ And I was like, okay, I can do that.

And then they were like, ā€œYou need to memorize like 1,000 Chinese characters if you want to be on par with a standard Japanese toddlerā€ and Iā€™m like, ā€œnah, Iā€™ve discovered weed and beer and girls, fuck all of that.ā€

Had the exact same experience. Lost all hope when we got to kanji. Didnā€™t help that I had the woat sensei.

I had incredible senseis, I let them all down.

You know, for a long time England was a backwater nation and the English incorporated a lot of fancy French words like ā€œporkā€ and ā€œbeefā€ and ā€œsauteā€ into their language. The Japanese were the same way: they were a silly island backwater that incorporated a bunch of Chinese characters into their language so they could feel fancy like the Chinese empire. Itā€™s a shame, it would be an easy language to pick up if you only had to learn a 100-character alphabet, the grammar is stupid easy.

Like trump could balance himself on a motorcycle. Seriously garrison is a semi savant.

I canā€™t wait for the retrospective with ā€œThatā€™s What Friends Are Forā€ playing behind us to remind us of all the previous moments like when Donald got to be Big Boy Trucker!

How comfortable would it be full of fat Americans?

It was that they didnā€™t have a written language. They saw the Chinese written system and were like ā€œgood idea, weā€™ll have thatā€. At least I hope this is true. I cbf googling to confirm.

Book Japanese is easy, the language as actually used is a bit harder, but the grammar does trend easy (verb always at the end is nice).

I keep meaning to try learning Indonesian. Itā€™s written in English alphabet and itā€™s a lingua franca so itā€™s not too difficult. For example, to pluralize a noun you simply repeat the word. In Australia Japanese was the language everyone took when I was in high school because the Japanese were LDO going to rule the world. Now itā€™s Mandarin. I feel like Indonesian is getting ahead of the curve.

And weā€™re going right back there whether you like it or not, and thereā€™s nothing that you or your exotic food and fancy spellings are going to do about it, ok?

They canā€™t cave now. In fact, the offers should start getting worse for Republicans every single day going forward.

Agreed. Donaldā€™s EO gambit 1000% guarantees that heā€™ll eat 100% of the blame for whatever comes next. They should pretty much tell the Senate to pass their bill or gtfo and wait for an offer thatā€™s slow and over the plate.

Once again Donald has gone and turned down a street clearly marked no exit so that he can keep pretending to have not lost a little longer.

And yet caving is still by far the most likely outcome.

There shouldnā€™t even be offers, especially from Pelosi.

The line should be ā€œThe House passed a bill almost 3 full months ago. Either bring that bill to the Senate or have a Senate pass on a different bill.ā€

And then walk away.
