The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Unconstitutional Slop

Maybe my own emotions + bubble is getting the best of me, but I really feel like voter turnout is going to insane even with covid risk. It doesn’t matter that Joe “Cornpop” Biden is the Nom; Trump has his 35% base, but everyone else is tired of this shit and is ready for whatever they deem as normalcy again.

Trump’s approval (538) has gone up 1.5 points in the last couple of weeks.

After all, the president had told her in the Oval Office that he aspired to have his image etched on the monument. And last year, a White House aide reached out to the governor’s office with a question, according to a Republican official familiar with the conversation: What’s the process to add additional presidents to Mount Rushmore?

So Trump will lose every court case related to these blatantly unconstitutional executive orders, but do whatever he wants indefinitely while the endless appeals and stays are in place. Hell, even if they magically go straight to the Supreme Court he will still just play the “fuck you, no” card. I’ve seen this movie before.

I’m increasingly convinced this shit isn’t going to stop without (much more) bloodshed.

It helps when you have 50 Rasmussen polls and terrible polls from my alma mater that somehow got rated high at one time. His approval isn’t moving, it’s just skewed numbers from biased polls.

The whole make crazy promises on EOs is designed to make Democrats look bad. If he tries those things, Democrats sue and look horrible. If they don’t contest them, he does a victory lap and it sets precedent for even greater exploitation of EOs.

EDIT: Last minute Trump press conference! Guess he’s had a bad day and wants to ramble some more.

EDIT #2: Guarantee you that a lot of the disapproval of Trump is deplorables thinking that he isn’t far enough to the right.

We are in the burbs 14 miles outside of Philly. For a couple of years now we’ve seen postal delivery of Amazon stuff on Sundays.

Since Covid has happened, the volume of packages on people’s porches has quadrupled at least.

We don’t do meds by mail but tons of people do.

Excellent point is that should have done the slowdown about Oct 1-15 range. Early enough to capture enough ballots. Late enough to avoid massive coverage until too late.

Next I expect that we will here big city post offices will have mystery off hours employees that wear red hats with duct tape of the MAGA as a disguise. This will coincide with the need for daily trash dumpster emptying or they will commute to and from work with 24 foot rental trucks.

LO fucking L. He recognizes that he only has the power to defer collecting payroll taxes.

August 1st to end of 2020…what?

Slurring his words and can’t pronounce China.

Man he’s throwing all the bullshit against the wall. He’s super-desperate and very aware at how badly he’s losing in the polls.

OH WOW!! $400 per week!!

SO AMAZING! With states covering 25% of it! So generous!
