I’ve seen a push by some LBGTQ friends when gay to call your partner your girlfriend/boyfriend or something to personalize it because it normalizes it more. In the past gay people have had to say " my partner " as kind of an undercover thing to not offend people or try to hide it from them. Especially in the workplace.

A quick scroll of her Twitter feed makes me fairly certain she was never a dem voter. This “I didn’t vote for trump but he is actually great” schtick is so transparent. I’ve seen it a few times recently.
