That’s the thing with narcissists. Everything has to be about them. He is literally incapable of separating the two unrelated things. John Lewis’s value to Trump is solely based on how Lewis treated him. If Trump reaps no benefit from a person or relationship, that person or relationship has a negative net value in Trump’s world.
This clip is such a clear depiction of his depravity. Trump is a world class asshole.

Usually just sort of roll my eyes/quietly chuckle at Trump’s inability to read, but dying here at “yo-SEM-ites”. 
Love how he kinda senses it’s not right, so he repeats, with the same pronunciation, and is then satisfied that maybe he indeed nail it.
