I made a brief foray into the responses to that tweet. Itās been a while since Iāve done that. Its way more critical than it used to be. Either his popularity is way down, or Twitter has done a good job of cleaning out the trolls and bots. Maybe both.
Alabama numbers are getting really bad. Do you guys have friends / family / acquaintances that are getting pretty sick? Remember when he said the death toll wouldnāt reach ~100K fewer than it is now?
Itās insane how idiots like him can look at numbers that are certainly undercounting (see, excess deaths compared to expected) and just flat out reject reality. Still rooting for him to end up on a vent after he goes out licking doorknobs to own the libs.

I know of an ex coworker and her husband that i would consider friends, both had extended hospital stays but survived. That was like a month ago though. I posted in the covid thread earlier this week about a tech that works for my company that i dealt with from time to time that his wife is in the hospital and heās having to take off work to care for his kids and has a gofundme setup now.
No family or close friends that have contracted it. I also posted in the covid thread a couple days ago though about how my siblings and parents always do an august/sept beach trip and I had to tell them that myself, wife and kids would not be attending but i guess everyone is still going, and both my sisters will be sending their kids to school when they open, even though one doesnāt work. So i would say a matter of time? Heritagenothate refuses to wear a mask, claimed he would send me a video of going to walmart without a mask, obviously hasnāt done that. He acted like a clown when i told the rest that we werenāt going to the beach, saying it was going to the best one yet etc etc. I told him he was a moron basically and Iām sure he would keep doing what he was doing and living large because heās moron. he responded with yep Iāll keep living large and not catching the virusā¦Iāll try real hard to not give him shit if he catches but Iām not even sure he would tell anyone if he caught it tbh. eh who are we kidding Iāll give him shit.

Yeah itās very similar to Pride month when every large company has a rainbow version of their logo now. I dont mean to be overly cynical about it, itās a good sign that social pressure makes them think they need to do it.

I didnāt go into detail before but Iām trying to now, I told him as much yesterday that we probably wouldnāt talk anytime soon and when/if trump lost and comey didnt go to jail he can leave my winnings with our parents assuming he doesnāt welch. Blocked his number, with covid wonāt be seeing him anytime soon at any family functions. Informed my sisters that I was cutting him out basically and why, they both said basically that they understood and hoped it would get better. I bit my tongue until today and basically replied that maybe someone else should try talking to him because it wasnāt going to happen on his own but I donāt expect either to do so, or maybe he will grow up and change on his own but If i had to bet, nahhhh. One of them mentioned that my mom was aware that we donāt get along and it bothers her alot, seems pretty obvious what needs to be done from my point of view but Iāve posted that my mom shares alot of his sentiments soā¦whatever.

The agentsā decision to monitor the briefing appeared aimed at gleaning information from Trumpās close adviser, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who attended the briefing with Trump, and then-New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was Trumpās transition team leader at the time. Flynn was codenamed āCrossfire Razorā by investigators, and the document heading includes a reference to his case. At the time, Trump had recently secured the Republican presidential nomination.
The summary indicates that the agent coordinating the briefing, Joe Pientka ā also one of the agents who later interviewed Flynn days after Trumpās inauguration in 2017 ā paid special attention to any mentions that Trump or Flynn made of Russia.
āDuring the [intelligence] briefs, writer actively listened for topics or questions regarding the Russian Federation,ā Pientka wrote.
Though there were a handful of mentions of Russia, itās unclear whether the agentsā approach yielded anything of significance. At one point, after Trumpās briefers described Chinese and Russian intelligence officers operating in the United States, Trump interjected with a question: āJoe, are the Russians badā Because they have more numbers are they worse than the Chinese?"
