Yeah I think more than half the country is blissfully unaware of how fucked weāre all about to be. Iām starting to see more and more of my circle impacted by this, and weāre talking about mostly middle to upper middle class white collar professionals.
If we as a country let all those people go under, weāre heading for another Great Depression. And to be clear, weāre headed for one even if we only let the working poor go under, and hopefully itās clear that I want to make sure we keep everyone alive and comfortable here.

Itās neither here nor there at the moment, but Dems should start a big push to standardize dollar amounts in the government as a per taxpayer amount instead of the gross. People are not very good at understanding big numbers. $45M is nothing, plus it actually recovered a lot of money from some investigations, if I recall correctly. But people just use a big number to get all angry about the cause they already believe in. The wall would cost $25 billion. But, again, thatās just some big number someone throws out there.
I think people should see an itemized report of the cost per taxpayer:
Mueller Investigation: 32 cents
Trump Wall: $177
Defense Budget: $5,117
