Latest Euro models for Hurricane Laura are pretty terrible. The dead center of the ensemble of models is a direct hit on Galveston/Houston, with a pressure indicative of a strong Cat 3 or weak Cat 4. Looks like landfall late Wednesday or early Thursday. I’m sure Trump is right on top of this.

Yeah I skipped the RNC (Blood & Soil) posts & skimmed this thread - the Daniel and Aaron one has just about the right mix for me at the moment.
3 more days of this - hoping for a huge snafu somewhere at which point I’ll be in the RNC thread savouring every detail.
I’m not sure how much more of a snafu you can get outside of “racist couple who pointed guns at black protestors talk about Joe Biden winning = black people flooding into the suburbs and destroying white people’s ability to live the american dream.”

That was a feature, not a bug.
The snafu was putting them right after the Parkland dad. But again, given that they don’t think a lack of gun control played any role whatsoever, not really a snafu for them.
To rise to the level of snafu, we need a hot mic moment or someone dropping a racial slur live, or green room footage of the mountain of cocaine they’re doing with Mitch presiding.

I assume that he’s wrong, as usual, and that people aren’t being mailed “unsolicited” ballots, but rather absentee ballot applications?
That’s what Georgia did for the primary and it was great (not doing it for the general, though).
