So when Trump says it was fraudulent, and has ICE and secret federal police in riot gear surround the White House to repel protesters, the military is going to say, “Sorry, that looks like a political process, we can’t get involved.”
Calm down. Of course they have to say that. The military leadership despises Trump. The task of removing him from office falls to the Secret Service. In the unlikely but possible case that right-wing crazies try to engage the secret service with guns the military will of course defend the secret service, restore order and tell Donnie McFatass to GTFO.

I’m absolutely terrified of Trump winning the election. Or “winning” the election. Or claiming victory and throwing everything into chaos. However, I’m quite sure that if he loses and the results are certified, or if SCOTUS says he lost, he will be leaving office.
