I trust her opinion on masks over the doctors for sure (my highest scoring comment so far)
I made it 12 seconds. “Conditioning ‘mericans for loss of freedumbs” (I guess in response to masks?)
Is this like a rodeo bull riding contest?
How tall is your friend? Is this woman like 6’2"?
she claims she’s reading the latest medical journals and that’s why she’s mask off. i haven’t heard a citation, but it’s possible some scam artist is taking this poor woman’s yearly dentist budget and selling her scam journal subscriptions
Also possible she’s illiterate
Well boys, we had a good run. I’m a couple months shy of 4 years sober, but I’m afraid I’m going to have to drink myself into oblivion if Trump wins a second term.
The SDNY guy put out a statement: I did not resign and I’m not going anywhere until a successor is named to protect ongoing investigations.
I appreciate whoever unfaved Dan’s post in recognition of my pony’s victory.
Had to be by a nose.
Preet the man himself on CNN
I’ve been burned too many times hoping for lawbros to save the day, but this Berman story sounds like a pretty big deal, no? Has to be a good chance he was fired for investigating Trump, and is refusing to step down for the same reason.
lol
if he had lost in 2016, he’d be saying this same shit, but adding, “this wouldn’t happen if i were president!”
The one reason I’m somewhat skeptical of this theory is that Clayton is not a huge Trump loyalist. If there was an investigation to squash, Clayton seems like an odd pick as he’s always seemed pretty pragmatic and apolitical.
That said, Clayton is also a really weird pick in general as he’s never been a litigator, much less a prosecutor.
Holy shit. I’m here for the ride. Sorry for anyone staying sober through this, you’re a better man than me.
holy fuck this guy he has on now.
Clayton was counsel for Deutsche Bank, but I’m sure that’s just a coincidence
A partner at the high-powered corporate law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, Clayton represented Wall Street banks throughout his career. He served as Goldman Sachs’s lawyer during the Wall Street bailout, allowing it to emerge from the financial crisis relatively unscathed. He helped deliver failed investment bank Bear Stearns to JPMorgan Chase and other failed investment bank Lehman Brothers to Barclays. He defended Ally Financial in its foreclosure fraud settlement with the government and represented Deutsche Bank in its “mirror trade” Russian oligarch money laundering scandal. He was the lawyer of record with mortgage servicer Ocwen during a scandal so distasteful the CEO was forced to resign.
Q anon people are a wholllllllle other echelon of crazy. The NYT podcast they did over it recently was great. I pictured wirelessbro as the guy the series starts out on.
