Conservatives use their bullshit legal methodology to justify a generally good result, albeit on weak grounds. From what I know about Title VII the result is wrong under both the express terms and intent of the statue.
I would have preferred finding a constitutional basis or simply telling Congress to pass a better law. However, our political system is so sclerotic, with so many veto points, that I guess I’ll take it.
However, this type of “plain reading” analysis, whether of statutes or the Constitution, has and will continue to do much harm. That said, worth celebrating a good result.
If you “credit” Trump for contributing to this current moment where white people are starting to realize the horror that is being a minority in America… this tweet is kinda accurate?

Can someone give me cliffs on what congress has done on this? I assume GOP would block but had it even been attempted.
Also given the recent ruling is there any point in doing it? My guess is that congress should do it anyway lest any future court be inclined to go the other way on this. Just make it ironclad, imo.
Savage is significantly more deplorable and way to the right of Rush Limbaugh.
