The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: retweets WHITE POWER, condemns Black Lives Matter, regrets criminal justice reform

You won’t have to. You could tell anyone from any point of Trump’s life that he died and they would guess it was from something like this. Even hardcore libtarian supporters that know he’s dumb would still be like yeah but he died so we could have CHOICE.

The hard part would be when you say he was elected president. Like I said, anyone in the past would have an easy time believing Trump did something this stupid, but no one would guess that America would be dumb enough to vote him into office.

It’s kind of a single day story, and Walter Schab, ex-WH ethics office, went on a rant about how people shouldn’t make fun of Trump for being fat. I don’t care either way, but I think title updates can be saved for major things like impeachment or if he catches the 'vid (or if the 'vid catches him…because he’s fat and slow.)

I’m mad at myself for even engaging on this stupid ass topic, but anyone mad that Nancy Pelosi called Trump fat is a fucking idiot, end of story.

Buy calls on all pharma companies with ties to Trump and his associates Friday and rake the $$?

Sometimes liberals are so focused on being virtuous that they eat their own.

Fuck that. Republicans are electing and supporting rapists, conspiracy theorists, and pedophiles while Al Franken is forced to resign after a tasteless picture.

Democrats gotta realize that this is war and there are no rules anymore.

I was having a discussion with a friend today and we were trying to come up with a top 3 list of what the GOP actually stands for. These aren’t in any order, but I’m curious to see what other additions/omissions you would make to your top 3:

White Supremacy
Tax Cuts
Voter Disenfranchisement

ETA: Whining was a close 4th

BOOTSTRAPS!

  1. More money for people who already have lots of money
  2. Maintenance of a perpetually desperate economic underclass (See #1 above)
  3. Instant gratification

All the other stuff is in purtsuit of these three things.

I think tax cuts are number 1. I think the white supremacy is a means to get there.

EDIT: what Riverman said basically.

The other shit simply allows them to keep giving tax cuts.

Tax cuts and deregulation of business are the top two Republican issues. The third can be framed as a general culture war stance of protecting the status quo or an opposition to (non-white) identity politics.

It’s definitely not just tax cuts. It is equally important to tilt the playing field in favor of people who are already winning. The tax cuts are extra valuable when the game is rigged in your favor re: income and even more importantly wealth.

The two core republican principals are less government and more christianity. Those guide all the other ones already mentioned like tax cuts, racism, deregulation etc.

Dude they DGAF about Christianity, they all know its a fairy tale. Its a vehicle for mobilizing tribalism.

They’re not for less government either. They are all for big government wars, big government hand outs to the rich, etc. Even that is a phony principal to rile up a base, it has nothing to do with what they do when they have power.

If you guys wanna enumerate and rank all of the ways they steal all the money for oligarchs go ahead. I’m good just calling it tax cuts because analyzing it any further distracts from the fact it’s a straight-up kleptocracy. For example, they are not “for deregulation.” They are for whatever let’s them steal all the fuckin’ money using some wonkish-sounding faux policy psychobabble as cover.
