Do you think itās possible that Bolton had some CIA officer act like the WB to shield himself?
The one thing I was struck by in the complaint is that whoever this is had a lot of people reporting to him/her. Since we have no idea who it is now, itās hard to say whether the supposed āCIA officerā fits that profile.

Eh, I think thatās a stretch. The movie scene is fantasy story telling. Make-believe. Part of why itās exciting is that we know itās only something that should exist in pretend world. Part of the enjoyment is that itās so over-the-top that itās clearly absurd. We can separate fantasy and reality.
The Trump version of the scene brings fantasy and reality together, at best celebrating the thought of real people being killed. At worst, it actively encourages people to murder journalists. And the Resident supports the message.
I had not considered that. I was merely poking holes in the claim that the eloquence of the WB complaint defines who the WB could be.

I decided for some reason to venture over to chiefsplanet for the latest in deplorable hot takes. Seems they are in unity that Trump has single handedly stopped Turkey from attacking the Kurds and Turkey is asking for his help negotiating a cease fire thanks in part to Rudi Giuliani.

I think the WB counsel said the WB wrote it with no help. Not sure if the counsel formatted it differently after the WB wrote it.
Honestly, I just donāt know. I donāt think violence in fantasy pop culture is a proximate cause of the violence around us, but I canāt say it doesnāt play some kind of a role. Like, we canāt say itās harmless fantasy escapism when we do it but not also fantasy escapism when MAGA chuds use the same imagery.
I donāt have a good solution here. Iām an enthusiastic consumer of violent pop culture. Love the John Wick movies. I remember when The Matrix came out with that scene of Neo shooting up a zillion dudes with assault rifles and I laughed when oldsters got upset about that. Iām kind of starting to think that this shit is actually not healthy for us.

I just skipped like 200 posts 2 days in a row cause this shitshow is just too much for 2 human beings to keep up with. Iād be ok with the new norm to be not breaking the fucking law, so just throw the book at all the crooked asses and let God sort them out.

Is counsel claiming the complaint was written in their presence, and only the two of them were there as it was written? Even then, and I hate you for making me stop and consider whether Iām going full LuckBox, but I think most politicians at that level have someone off the books who is an essential advisor and/or fixer
