I’ve never seen Drive, but I guess I should.
I’ve had plenty of cool background roles - can’t get them all. One of my “movie set friends” was in the early scene when Baby was going for coffee, so I lived vicariously through him.

In case anyone who watched Halt and Catch Fire doesn’t know, dlk9s was cast and shot as Bill Gates in one of the seasons of that show. He was actually the focal point in a shot, but alas his scenes ended up on the floor.

The thing I can’t let go is that American pop culture has become so unrelentingly hyper-violent that we accept a mass shooting in a church as a bit of happy fun movie magic, but when it’s transposed to a political ad then it is somehow grotesque and horrible and beyond the pale. There’s a disconnect here.

Just remember, this is all just a matter of perspective depending on which canon your mind is in. Bolton is only a super evil character on The West Wing. He’s one of the good guys in A Clockwork Orange.
