The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: ORANGE Gettin' PEACHed, Nation Goes BANANAS

JFC these clowns. Finishing reading an article I linked to earlier.

A resident of upscale Boca Raton, Parnas once ran an electronics business that was successfully sued for its role in a fraudulent penny stock promotion scheme. He has also worked for three brokerages that later lost their licenses for fraud and other violations. He has never been personally charged.

Court records also show that judges have awarded a series of default judgements against Parnas for multiple unpaid debts. These include over $500,000 he owes to an investor in a Hollywood movie that he had promoted but was never made. He has also been sued a dozen times over the last decade for failing to pay rent on various Palm Beach County properties and has been evicted from two homes.

So it sort of boggles my mind where their money is coming from, except this article details their connections to Ukranian mafia.

On where their money came from:

The donation ascribed to Global Energy Producers in fact came from the bank account of another company belonging to Parnas. Days earlier, that company had received a wire transfer of $1.26 million from the trust fund of a Florida lawyer who specializes in real estate, court records show.

Do we know yet who this Florida lawyer is?

The men said ā€œthey had all this influence,ā€ Stok said. ā€œThey said Trump and his associates were going to back their company. That they had direct access to the White House.ā€

ā€œSomeone takes a half million dollars from you and heā€™s hanging with the president and the presidentā€™s lawyer,ā€ Andre said.

ā€œIā€™ve never seen anything like this,ā€ he said. ā€œWhere is the money coming from?ā€

Given Parnas and Frumanā€™s relationships with senior Ukrainian officials and their business interests in the country, their lobbying against a U.S. ambassador raises questions about their compliance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

The act requires Americans operating on behalf of a foreign entity in the United States to declare their work to the Department of Justice. Parnas and Fruman did not do so.

Their lobbying of Sessions raises ā€œthe thorniest red flag,ā€ said Ron Oleynik, a Washington attorney who advises clients on FARA compliance. ā€œThat, to me, is clearly trying to influence an office of the United States toward Ukraine.ā€

Remember when we were like LOLRudyWTF when he was going to a paid speaking event in Ukraine that was the definition of THIS IS FINE? He canceled, but that doesnā€™t mean no one went.

Though Giuliani cancelled his trip, Parnas and Fruman managed to hold meetings with two figures close to Zelensky: Serhiy Shefir, who has since been appointed as an aide to the president, and Ivan Bakanov, now acting head of Ukraineā€™s secret police. The meetings failed to lead to a meeting between Giuliani and Zelensky.

Last note, does anyone know how to/if we can access the content of this call?

Parnas and Fruman responded by filing a criminal complaint with Ukrainian police, alleging that Kolomoisky had threatened their lives. They also lodged a defamation suit against the oligarch, their lawyer Alina Samarets said.

Giuliani personally joined at least one call to discuss the case, Samarets said.

This is their followup link about Frumanā€™s ties to "a powerful local businessman reputed to be in the inner circle of one of the countryā€™s most infamous mafia groups.

ā€œI donā€™t know who those people are.ā€

10 seconds for media to find a million photos of them together.

NOBODY GIVES ONE FLYING FUCK AND NOTHING HAPPENS.

Fuck America.

Could have been any of a thousand articles. Lots of voting machines are trivial to hack. People have known about this for a long time. Just based on no one being so obvious as to make someone win 99% of the vote Iā€™d guess itā€™s not incredibly wide spread, but Iā€™d be shocked if machines havenā€™t been hacked lots of times.

I mean if you arenā€™t used to this by now I donā€™t know what to tell you. But I do agree it fucking sucks. Corporate America controls all media and all politicians (with limited exceptions). Corporate America is doing great. As long as Corporate America is doing great this is all just theatre to dupe the rubes into thinking the myth we were all raised to believe was America is true and is doing just fine. Literally nothing will come of any of this. We will be lucky if we fade the corporate wet dream for 2020 Biden v. Trump.

We really arenā€™t much different from Russia when it comes down to it. We have the illusion of choice between the two parties rather than Putin but what difference really is there? The government is designed currently to benefit about 400 people (oligarchs) at the detriment of the rest of us. Until one party decides to untether themselves from the corporate teat this is the reality we live in whether we like it or not.

A call from Trump to now boycott Turkey so close to Thanksgiving would really confuse the rubes.

Not sure if this is the exact article I was thinking of (I donā€™t think it is) but itā€™s talking about the relationship I was thinking of. Basically in precincts with electronic voting, Republican vote share tracks pretty linearly with precinct size. Itā€™s statistically very unlikely, and also doesnā€™t jive with what we know about the areas that favor republican vs Democratic.

I donā€™t know. Iā€™m havenā€™t read too deeply into it and if someone who understands statistics better than me tells me itā€™s bullshit Iā€™ll believe it, but I find it pretty damning when combined with what we know about how flimsy the security around these things are. You donā€™t need to rig every precinct to do this, you can target those with high turnout and do a lot of damage.

A lawyer who gets all his clients incarcerated would be unique.

I mean Rudy rotting in federal prison will be both deserved and make for a hell of a story arc in the HBO doc.

This kind of reads similar to a ā€œpokerstars is riggedā€ article.
