Yeah this is a nonsensical take by them. Notice all the attempts of spinning the whistleblower story have been nonsense. When one fails move to the next. Congress is the appropriate oversight for the presidency. So if an aid was presented with this information it would make sense to file a whistleblower complaint and contact congress.
