Yea, the GOP are not calling Democratic candidates Democrats anymore. They are all now calling them Socialists. It’s by design. They will shift a little back to the center like you say. You are already starting to see it with the Climate Change issue with straws and hamburgers. “Crazy socialists want you to stop eating meat and drinking from straws!” Then, they will slowly adapt plans that Dems were pushing 20 years ago and claim it as their own.

I live about 10 min from UF. Thinking of going to that Trump Jr speech if I can get tickets. They are free but only available to the public the day of the speech. Should be good for shits and giggles booing the crap out of him.

Um, Trump would absolutely love everyone repeating his calling the impeachment Bullshit. Hard to believe these media people are that stupid, rather they are complete ratings sellouts. A pathological liar repeating his denial of accusations against him for the 100x time is hardly newsworthy just because he phrased it a different way.

It’s really not that different from anywhere else, politically. Bigger cities like Orlando, Tampa and Miami are more liberal, outside of those it’s more conservative. Pensacola is a military town so it’s pretty right wing. Jacksonville is South Georgia so it skews right too I believe.
Alachua County is actually blue. Each of the surrounding counties are deep deplorable red though.
