If you wish to quote only part of a post, yes. But that feature should be incremental feature to having a one-click quote option, IMO.

Click reply. Click bubble. Done. Really thereâs no need to quote entire posts because replies automatically have a link to the right of them to the post theyâre replying to.
try doing this on mobile
on mobile, try figuring out what the fuck somebody is replying to. youâre clicking tiny arrows, youâre getting sent up the thread, you have to click another button to go back to where you were.
autoquote would be so much less of a headache, but for some reason itâs impossible on this software
