Is it possible that a quick jettison of Trump (if such a thing were possible), could allow the Republicans to replace him and improve their 2020 chances?
So many people are voting just against Trump I do think a lot of people wouldnât even vote. Of course the same is likely true the other way
Iâm guessing Republicans are beginning to realize that their only hope for 2020 is to keep Trump and ensure widespread voter repression / fraud.
Of course, presumably their dream scenario is he has a heart attack and they pick a candidate who deifies Trump enough to keep his supporters happy.
How stupid is the Trump administration and how incapable is Trump of processing relevant information and changing course in light of it? Stupid enough to withhold $400m despite multiple bipartisan letters and personal communications, to the point where the Senate was on the verge of freezing some money from the Pentagon. Imo, itâs entirely possible that at least 10 Republican senators vote to convict based on such antics (and because they hate Trump).
