Didn’t people from Nixon’s administration end up in the Reagan, Bush, Bush, (probably Clinton), and Trump administrations? Not just random people, but names that made it onto the nightly news for shady shit. I think the idea they’d be ostracized is really pie-in-the-sky.

The absolute worst that happens is a few of these guys have to take 12 months off before sliding into a board seat at some Fortune 100 company or lobbying firm.

LOL at “fully support transparency” from the guy who claims executive privilege on EVERYTHING.

Yeah but the period that followed the Nixon administration has been spectacularly corrupt. That’s a huge part of what’s ending here.

It’s unsustainable and unsustainable stuff can go on a long time before it ends… but it does end. There’s a new meta coming and I’m sure it’ll have significant flaws, but this rampant corruption of public officials will have to at least get toned down.

Haha, I love to stare out the window on the LGA approach too because it’s such an awesome view of the city… but this was literally head pressed against the fuselage for like 10-15 mins straight.

Landing in San Diego is like nothing else. I always ask for a window seat on my return flights.

Dems really jumped hard at impeachment when they threatened their 2020 Golden boy. If it was Bernie or Liz, they’d shrug their shoulders and claim that they are deeply concerned.

Not to go full left-handed Q, but if every time you see Deep State you add the words “of denial,” it makes a lot more sense

I think it’s like real important to note that Trump himself hasn’t wriggled his way out of anything. And to the extent that he appears to have so far, it’s 100% due to the complicity of the GOP (and more recently along with the help of er… Pelosi and establishment Dems). All Trump knows how to do is make noise and throw flash bombs to create distraction. NONE of his nonsense and crimes would’ve been able to fly past two months into his presidency if it weren’t for the enabling and complicit GOP

When this sad chapter of our history ends, we need to take names. Not just of Trump, but of EVERY single politician who had a hand in anything to do with prolonging this racist, xenophobic, lying douche presidency. Their grand kids and great grand kids need to know what they’ve done. Their names need to appear in history books right alongside of Trump

Also, while I’m an ardent supporter of 4A and the right to privacy, I wouldn’t be opposed to creating a permanent database of his racist supporters. Seriously, they should all go down in ignomy

Nicholle Wallace also-marriage-material is fact checking him in real time and it is glorious

Just the beginning of course. Trump is basically street sewage and offal mashed together in the gutter by wagon wheels and will go after the whistleblower in any way possible. I’m surprised he’s not naming the person already, I guess because he hasn’t definitively discovered who it is.
