When the Dems won the house I recall a lot of us were saying the speaker should be anybody but Pelosi. Abrams, Beto, Obama, AOC, a wet wad of used toilet paper, etc. Echoes of “Pelosi is the only one who knows how to get things done” and “she will be relentless” were bouncing off every wall.

She has been beyond useless and is actively aiding in the downfall of our democracy.

Yep, I was having that argument with people on the forums and in the liberal Facebook group I got kicked out of over it. They worshiped the ground she walked on. No clue how they feel now, I got some shade thrown my way after the Oval Office meeting and the red coat picture, but haven’t heard a peep in quite some time.
