We had been building up to that date for a while, but that does seem like the date of the absolute end of bipartisanship.
In a sane world it would have driven democrat turnout, instead it fucking drove republican turn out

I was strongly advocating and trying to start real protests, massive civil disobedience, general strikes, etc. 2-1/2 years ago. People thought that was silly and unnecessary. Now it’s probably too late.

I really don’t know how to combat this. On the one hand, I do want to know if presidential candidates are doing scandalous things, but jfc, POTUS is sending his lawyer over to a foreign country to get them to dig up dirt on a political opponent while dangling $millions in military aid as leverage and the best this clown can muster is concern that Guiliani is being “unhelpful” to the goal of uncovering the real story?!?

Some people might say that going farther than that is silly and unnecessary. In a few years, maybe people who have been saying that you need to think about going farther are going to be saying “I told you so”.

Checking in on the center-right, my NeverTrump father won’t listen to anything about this whistleblower unless/until the entire report from the whistleblower comes out, because until then, it’s all speculation and he doesn’t know what to believe on either side.
He also said it sounds like Biden possibly did the same thing Trump did.
Never Trump really means they’ll never vote for Trump but they will in fact vote for the GOP.
I’d send him that whistle tips video with Bubb Rubb. I’m sure he’s totally not racist so low chance of having a meltdown. Then you can call out WHISTLES GO WOO WOO whenever he expresses doubts about anonymous tips from whistleblowers.
