The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: ORANGE Gettin' PEACHed, Nation Goes BANANAS

If the next president* isn’t willing to hang people for treason then I don’t care what kind of free tuition bread crumbs they’re offering.

lol Fox News app. I was listening to Rush the other day and he went on for like 20 minutes carefully explaining to his listeners how to upgrade their iPhones to make sure the Rush app works correctly. It was the most Boomer shit I’ve ever heard.

Whistleblower’s

How does it matter if the whistleblower is highly partisan if both Pence and Rudy both admit they did it?

If nothing matters, then the election doesn’t matter either. It’s obviously true that the Republicans and their core supporters are all-in on a Trump-led evisceration of the democratic principles of our political system and that as a result, it’s almost impossible to imagine him being removed from office before the end of his term. It’s also obviously true that it’s absolutely critical that he and his lackeys be removed from office in the election, or if there aren’t free elections, by other means.

And I get that “lol nothing matters” is cool short-hand for the above facts, but I honestly worry that people are genuinely forgetting that the people to whom nothing matters is a small number of vile politicians and oligarchs and a decided minority of the population who vote a lot and live in electorally significant states. And, most importantly, those people are wrong! It is not correct that nothing matters as long as the president can assemble a winning electoral coalition and keep it together. It’s really important if Trump is using his foreign policy powers to undermine an electoral component!

This I like better!

They’re obviously partisan because they believe in silly things like laws.

One of the more frustrating things about this presidency and those who support it is the sheer hypocrisy. Everytime I try to imagine the right wing reaction to these scandals if they were Obama administration events I get rageful.

lol, occurring during his presidency (and maybe also when he was thinking about being president) is their only criteria for asserting executive privilege

They’re going beyond executive privilege into outright immunity from oversight.

Why can’t someone just come out and release the name of the whistle blower and what happened? If it’s as bad as it sounds like it may be, it’s worth going to jail if a law is being broken.

It’s the same thing w/ Trump’s taxes. There has to be people out there that have seen them. Just release them and take the hit. You can always stretch out a trial and get a pardon assuming Trump loses in 2020.

The vast majority of people dont want to risk being in solitary confinement for 6+ years if trump wins again and maybe another Republican after him.

Especially since it probably wont matter how bad it is, it wont affect trumps support.

That’s another reason why the letter-writing party of George McFly doing absolutely nothing is such a problem. People who have the goods aren’t really incentivized to release them since nothing will happen. Like, that Kavanaugh accuser is brave, but there’s no chance in hell I would have advised her to testify.

Reality winner I assume is getting loads a support from? Who exactly?

Yeah no wonder no-ones “just” coming out with details in this US of A.

In Trump world who has been closer to him than his personal lawyer and Paul Manafort except his family?

And there both sitting in jail after 1 flipped and 1 didn’t.
