OK, you made me go read the Taibbi piece, I think I agree with all of that. His conclusion seems too strong in putting all the blame on the original presumed anti-Trump leaks in the transition period.
What had made me reply to your original post was the line about “leaks to the fake news media”. I think all three articles agree that reporting was an issue, and the NYT seemed to fill in a gap in the CNN story - that those concerns predated Trump. So it wasn’t just a matter of briefing and counter briefing in the age of Trump the president, fake news, supposed intelligence ‘sharing’ and so on. It didn’t occur to me that his take would be that it was only anti-Trump intelligence leaks that were the cause of such reporting.
This is because you lie constantly and always say shit you don’t mean in the moment. You are just full of shit bsing your way through every conversation without any regard for the truth or follow through.
I think we have discussed for years now that you could probably get trump to agree to about pretty much anything in the moment because his brain doesn’t process the viability of anything. It’s all just throw away meaningless chit chat.
