Ehh in a way they are. Look at what’s going on in the Bahamas. A group of billionaires could easily rescue and rebuild the islands if they chose to do so.
Didn’t billionaires in France raise $700 million in a weekend after Notre Dame burned down? Meanwhile millions of people are starving.
Yea maybe it’s not corruption per se, but it sure as hell isn’t moral either.
Let’s be pretty clear here. I support a message of class warfare. I want to encourage the people who hate minorities to instead blame the 1% for all of their problems and transfer their aggression towards the rich and bankers and corporations and insurance companies.
Or, crazy thought, we don’t target a group of people based on a generalization about said group but rather judge individuals based on their actual actions?
They are corrupt to the extent that they wield their power yes. Obama is a mass murder so that’s an easy one. Oprah sold Dr. Oz supplements that killed people maybe that was negligence rather than greed but still. I very much doubt even bernie is clean as the driven snow. Power corrupting is just a thing that happens. The more you wield it the worse you become.
