I’m in the “he’s not breathing any differently from his normal fat self” camp.
He definitely actually has it.
- He hates showing weakness of any kind
- Its terrible for him politically
- Half the West Wing also has it and would have to be lying (not logistically possible and makes no sense)
- He hates the hospital
- He is showing obvious physical signs of being sick that are consistent with the disease
- These doctors will lie for him but an entire hospital isn’t conspiring behind a fake illness
- Probably some other stuff

100%, he’s using accessory muscles. You see it in how he kind of moves his shoulders as he draws air in.
