Also most grocery stores don’t want you to put carts back in the main catchment because they have to clean them first. At least around me these would be there because grocery store workers told people to leave them there.

The workers are only doing that to clean up a customer’s mess. There are a thousand other things that would be a far more productive and fulfilling use of their time, but alas, some people think creating a mess is the same as creating a job.

Not really. I worked at Publix and I can tell you first hand that there’s actually not a lot to do. The managers make you do stupid shit like sweep a clean floor or sanitize a clean counter. Then they ask who wants to go home early.
That’s a failing on the manager’s part.
The ads write themselves:
"Forty something people in tRUmp’s orbit contracted coronavirus including staff, family and Donald himself.
If he can’t protect those closest to him, how will he ever protect those closest to you."

They don’t get more productive and fulfilling jobs, they get laid off. The people who collect carts are some of the least employable people in the labor market. It’s 100% teens, people with terrible interpersonal skills, or people with cognitive impairments.
Well yea. But most managers are morons.
They never care about anything until it happens to them. The absolute worst people ever. Apparently there are like 70 million of them in our shithole country.

I agree. I’m just saying that a manager wasting their workers doesn’t justify a customer leaving a careless mess. They are both problems with retail and why it is a soul sucking industry to work in.
