I’m glad she corrected it quickly, it is understandable given today’s ordeal. I make mistakes like that all the time so I immediately spotted it. I was nodding along and then like, wait what?
The thing about Republican politicians, is that they are wealthy white man with extremely comfortable lives. Hiding under the chair while a dude wearing a racoon is walking around their office with a spear is not something they can stomach. Not because they are not Nazis, but because they never signed up to being part of the sausage making process.
