Coincidentally the refrain from the GOP. If you corner them, they’ll say yeah, what they did was awful, but the filthy radical left democrats forced their hand when they did x/y/z.
We get confused when we doubt their sincerity.
What proof is there that Acosta has a source that he knows committed criminal activity? I’m highly doubting CNN wouldn’t push that if they knew anything.

Then they can simultaneously dump trump, grievance on the election and also claim that they had 4 years of triumph.

well, A) the “assholes” were not in the bar, they were just on the way to the bar (they were in the airport, not in Delta’s airplane or on Delta property). and B) I don’t think restaurants should ban people who heckle sarah huckabee or whoever either. I mean I don’t think they should be legally prevented from doing so, I just think it’s a dumb idea.
Politicians are not “other patrons” either. They’re accountable to the public and a lot of them, especially republicans, have made conscious efforts to shut themselves off from the public by no longer holding town halls etc. The average non-millionaire-donor-class american has very, very few opportunities to speak directly to these guys. We should encourage MORE of these interactions, not fewer.

Still think its extremely unlikely he gets prosecuted. Before the storm I had it at like 1-5%. Now maybe 10-20%?

I’m not sure about this, but I was at least under the impression that airlines lease the gates and ticket counter space from the airport. They may not “own” them, but they have a reasonable claim to possession.
