We can hope but I couldn’t even be sure of that. Fascism is pretty prominent in many countries in the developed world alone and spreading through the rest of the world like wildfire. Most centre-right (I use that term thinly) parties around the world are rushing rightward.

I agree. But I think it’s spreading because it’s seen as winning. If it receives a humiliating defeat in the US, it’ll suddenly seem a lot less appealing elsewhere. Hopefully.
