I was actually just thinking about this. I know we’re not living in normal circumstances, but under normal circumstances, if the President is not in a coma or otherwise physically unable to perform his duties, a sitting VP getting together with cabinet officials to discuss ways that they could at least temporarily seize power from the President seems kinda treasonous, doesn’t it?

fwiw i think it’s actually an important point. I tried to make it the other day.
It’s really tempting to go fuck you Mitt Romney, fuck you Mccain fuck you whoever establishment GOP. And rightfully so, they are all racist assholes that should burn in hell.
But in reality, they serve an important purpose. They can keep the full blown Nazi’s in check. The last 4 years should teach us that absolutely nothing good happens from ‘showing the true colors’ of the GOP. I mean sure, we temporarily luckboxed into a majority, but that can change in two years and the house is already full of neo nazis.
Cruz and Hawley and any other Nazi with aspirations needs to be singled out. Even if Susan Collins sucks too.
