Each rep gets 5 minutes - that just means that 24 R’s need to want their five minutes to get to the full two hours. First objection definitely taking the full two hours. And I’d expect they can find 24 news R’s for second objection as well. Maybe by the third they’ll have run out of crazies wanting their five minutes.

National guard has been deployed. They are handling stuff like transportation (and are unarmed) so police can focus on protestors.
I’d assume if things got really bad they could get armed and assist.
This might be the craziest presidential election in history, and it’s all going to be down the memory hole in like 12 months as just one part of the “Trump crazy period”.
Shouldn’t they be busting out the industrial strength tear gas?
