A journalist pressuring another journalist to burn his source. Very cool!
Yeah it’s this. “Slippery slope” as an argument needs to be dead forever and always.
First they came for the Nazis… and I said nothing… because fuck them, they’re Nazis.
Narrator: They all “listened to the evidence” and voted to acquit.
Trump is a broken narcissist who’s about to lose the most intense power-high of his life. He’s going to spend his post-presidency ranting like a madman, sabotaging Biden, and selling state to secrets our enemies. It’s genuinely hard for me to imagine a scenario that doesn’t end either with jail, foreign asylum, or death.
yeah I’m fine with delta banning them, honestly I don’t think it’s “bad” at all now that I think about it more.
“Slippery slope” is the intellectual refuge of dumb people and rhetoriticians. I come across it frequently in litigation. Life is about lines. When you don’t have anything to justify a position, you can always go with the “if we have X, pretty soon we’ll have Y.” All you have to do is fail to understand (often willfully) why X is actually a problem and not understand why Y isn’t. It’s surprisingly effective as a tool in argument and takes much more effort to rebut than to assert.
Matt Negrin isn’t a journalist.
Upon further reflection, neither is Jim Acosta.
Yes. It was on the plane en route to the capitol I think.
Liberals love making up stories of owning magas
Acosta gets an A for his 4 years dealing with the Trump administration. Good example of why not why not to screw with people who buy ink by the barrel.
Ink? Acosta can’t read or write.
Seems like a lifetime ago Jim was banned from the White House and I had to get my news from Acosta St.
Boycotting Colbert forever just for having comey on in January 2021.
I hope Trump stays in FL. All of his most important assets are in NY, and the state has a budget shortfall to make up.
