Yeah, the difference is the Republicans will pay for it by going into debt and slashing social programs.
Democrats have done such a piss poor job of presenting any kind of meaningful, coherent vision that nobody even really expects them to do anything here.
Trump is going to own this thing, and if there are failures he will be held responsible, fairly or not. The GOP knows this. So, holding the House, it’s a textbook fucking moment to use leverage, get policy wins, and brag about it endlessly. Instead, Nancy is nowhere to be found while TOM FUCKING COTTON OUTFLANKS HER TO THE LEFT.

Head of federal Office of Personnel Mgmt just quit w/o warning. Apparently, been fighting with the WH about a lot of stuff, including the fact that a greater % of fed employees haven’t been given the green light to wfh.
