Judge orders the amicus to address whether Flynn should be held in criminal contempt for perjury pursuant to âthe Courtâs inherent authority.â Ie, the Judge can find Flynn essentially guilty of perjury based on his own inherent authority, no prosecution required.

âAnd the law provides that the court â not the executive branch â decides whether an indictment may be dismissed. The responsible exercise of that authority is particularly important here, where a defendantâs plea of guilty has already been accepted. Government motions to dismiss at this stage are virtually unheard of.â
âFlynnâs guilt has already been adjudicated. So if the court finds dismissal would result in a miscarriage of justice, it can deny the motion, refuse to permit withdrawal of the guilty plea and proceed to sentencing.â

I mean a pardon is Flynnâs ultimate trump card, but as with so many things sometimes the goal is simply to force them to make good on their threats.
Donât want to extend the debt ceiling? Go right ahead and see how that works out.
Want to fire Fauchi? Go right ahead.
Want to pardon Flynn? Go right ahead. Will maybe only piss off 3-5% of law and order republicans, but thatâs enough.

Reminder that the great General Flynn, heroic patriot, pure of heart, and so horribly mistreated by the human scum at the FBI, once offered to spill the beans in exchange for immunity:
Flynnâs attorney Robert Kelner released a statement that said in part that âGeneral Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit.â
Also reminder as they ramp up on the âunmaskingâ stuff - theyâve been banging the same drum since basically the inauguration. This story on the âunmaskingâ âcontroversyâ as it pertains to Flynn and the Russia investigation is from April, 2017, even before Comey was fired and got that whole ball rolling.
Iâm sure Durham really has found a treasure trove of previously hidden documents that are going to blow the whole thing wide open though! OBAMAGATE!!!
