Trump-Cuomo feud escalates with live attacks
US President Donald Trump has been tweeting attacks against Andrew Cuomo as the New York governor was speaking at his daily news conference.
“If he’s sitting home watching TV, maybe he should get up and go to work,” Cuomo, a Democrat, responded after the president accused him of “complaining”.
“We have given New York far more money, help and equipment than any other state, by far, & these great men & women who did the job never hear you say thanks,” Trump tweeted.
Cuomo said that Trump “didn’t announce anything” in Thursday’s White House briefing on how states should plan to re-open.
"He said it’s up to the states…He’s doing nothing.
“It’s up to the governors. Which is what it always was,” he continued.
Most legal experts agree that the authority to police states is up to governors and not the federal government.
Earlier, Trump had claimed “total” authority, but later reversed course, saying it was up to governors to “call the shots”.
Mocking Trump’s comment yesterday calling the US a “50-piece puzzle”, Cuomo said: “No it’s a map of the United States, it’s not a puzzle. And those lines are called states.”

One thing I hope we never find out, but I have a sinking feeling that we will, is what Trump will do with the rallies when he is re-elected. So far, the rallies, I believe, have technically been part of his 2020 campaign. Obviously he’ll still have them. I’m just curious what the excuse will be and how the derposphere will defend it.

That is a good point and one I never thought of. Even if he loses the election I bet he holds rallies between November and January.
One thing we know about trump supporters though, is they will literally defend anything. There is no bridge too far or mountain too high.

Don Jr. would be much more +EV. I don’t think the base will embrace Ivanka the same way. But she is his favorite. I’ve got Ivanka over Don Jr. at -120.
I don’t care what happens to any of those people. It’s a shame that the medical community and so many others also have to suffer dealing with the fallout from these morons.

Imagine how bad this shit is going to get with the next democrat president, assuming we ever have one again. They’re literally going to put the govt in a Waco or Ruby Ridge scenario over every tiny perceived slight - but on a massive outdoor scale - all over the country.
They’re going to show up with guns and just dare you to do something. Then when one (white) person gets shot it’s a national fucking tragedy.

Women wouldn’t overwhelmingly vote against ivanka either though. No clue how many votes difference from those two though don jr should be better in the primary if trump didn’t just literally endorse her which he might well.
