The Fox News host boosted the claim of a “Lazarus”-like patient resurrection from a doctor whom she repeatedly misrepresented as working at an NYC hospital.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert and a member of the White House coronavirus task force, has urged caution to those boosting the drug as a solution to the pandemic, pointing out that evidence of its efficacy is only “anecdotal” and saying more clinical trials are needed.
Last week, the administration said that the FDA was approving “off-label” use of the drug for coronavirus patients and clinical trials have started nationwide, including in the hard-hit New York area, in order to study the drug’s effectiveness.
The CDC, however, currently notes that there’s “no currently available data from Randomized Clinical Trials (RCTs) to inform clinical guidance on the use, dosing, or duration of hydroxychloroquine for prophylaxis or treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection.”
But when has Fox ever let facts get in the way of furthering an agenda?
This review hits the nail on the head on how I felt

I missed the part where anyone competent said this treatment worked and was demonstrated through actual testing.
Essentially his resignation letter
A bipartisan mix of experts to reopen the economy? Trump thinks its a good idea. Why? Because the economy is tragically fucked, and having a “bipartisan” panel will help spread the blame. Nope. Make it a Republican panel and just own this devastation. Now that everything’s going to shit he wants to bring in the Democrats to be part of the shit show.
How many dem CEOs are there even?
He’s just going to have them say they have safety measures in place. Open the economy!
Some of the big companies definitely have eDem representation on their leadership teams. The R’s own the failson midmarket inherited company CEO space for sure, but very large companies tend to have technocratic leadership that lines up well with eDem political beliefs.
More to come, maybe.

Russian state media make it clear Putin’s “humanitarian aid” to the U.S. is anything but. It’s meant to show Russia’s superiority over an America in disastrous decline.
Thus they portray America’s failure to contain the disease as the collapse of the entire democratic system of government. Discussing Russia’s aid to the United States, the Russian newspaper Vzglyad wrote: “America is no longer a hegemon, but is still trying to act as such… If the death rate from coronavirus in the United States goes to many tens, or even hundreds of thousands, and the economic disruption continues, against the backdrop of the elections, this could lead to serious internal upheavals in the already divided American society.”
Vzglyad concluded: “In any case, China emerges victorious—not because it defeated the virus first, but because it will continue its expansion into all parts of the world… The U.S.-Chinese battle is only part of a common geopolitical war… In this complex conflict, Russia appears not just as the owner of a ‘golden share,’ as the Americans think, but as the main engine of the whole process of creating a new world order. Russia and China are essentially allies; we have a very close vision of the post-American world
Just what this pandemic needs…a trade war.
They get thanks but no healthcare or pension.
Thoughts and prayers and all that bullshit.
