Trump isn’t a big dog to tweet "congratulations!” or “thanks!” to someone who just died or “thoughts and prayers” to someone who just got promoted.
Thought experiment: Trump wins a second term and starts jailing political opponents on fabricated charges. Say a few really outspoken critics mysteriously die. Suppose he extorts business executives for favorable regulatory treatment. Does any sane person believe he wouldn’t get away with all of these things, and that after he gets away with them he will have a license to literally do anything?
Kind of amazing he hasn’t done any of that already. There would be zero consequences.
He’s certainly already done some of these things and IS getting away with it.
Being able to kill is the big hurdle. I’m not sure he quite has that power yet except maybe Epstein was a test run. Once you have that you can pretty much chill any dissent. You can tell he envies it so bad in Putin, Erdogan, Duterte.
I worry about Space Force possibly just being a way to zap people from space, or just drone them, in a force made entirely of sycophants willing to kill. No more pesky deep state push back.

Shocking. Trump descends from a long line of human garbage. I particularly enjoyed the part where Grampa Trump wrote the obsequious letter to try to get back to Germany. I’m sure he was completely shocked and outraged when it didn’t work.
