The Presidency of Donald J. Trump, Episode VI: No Witnesses, One Defector, No Checks or Balances

Wow Trump is actually somewhat coherent there. Stark difference from today.

lol, you actually believe NYT working class diner bullshit?

Wow. His cognitive decline is obvious and rapid. I maintain he has a pill addiction but even if not the guy is legitimately not of sound mind.

It’s not hard to find times he has taken the correct position. He has literally said everything that occurred to himself that sounded good in his head. Ultimate level 1 thinker in my opinion. He can be quite persuasive but is willing to say anything.

Which is worse, the joke about a congresswoman’s dead husband being in hell or that makeup job?

Really needs to be a video comparing how he spoke then to how he speaks now.

I mean there are coherent sentences, he’s focused and on topic. He actually looks lively compared to how he looks now.

This is why it’s so important to stay on the offensive against Trump. Give him room and he uses it to attack, which is the only political skill he ever really had. He’s not so great at taking it.

We shouldn’t let up for a minute from now to election day. This version of Trump is going to be a way worse candidate than 2016 Trump. 2016 Trump was a much better candidate than we like to give him credit for. Unfortunately Bannon was right when he saw potential there… and he flopped a set getting to run vs HRC.

Now that’s a scarily good propaganda poster.

They’re about to run even wilder out here in 2020.

LET’S FKIN GOOOOOOOOOOO

House Democrats told a federal court on Monday that they will continue impeachment investigations into President Donald Trump after the scheduled vote on articles of impeachment later this week.

In a 66-page filing with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, attorneys for congressional investigators led by House General Counsel Douglas N. Letter vowed that Democrats on the Judiciary Committee would continue their impeachment inquiry into whether Trump committed obstruction of justice–regardless of the outcome of the House’s current “narrow impeachment” process premised on the president withholding military aid to the Ukraine in an apparent scheme to obtain an investigation into Joe Biden‘s son.

The Judiciary Committee’s separate impeachment investigation is based on the findings contained in the report on election interference and obstruction of justice produced by former special counsel Robert Mueller. According to Letter, Judiciary Committee Democrats are determined to obtain additional grand jury materials produced in the course of Mueller’s investigation that the Department of Justice has been just as determined to keep under judicial lock-and-key.

Yeah, for a few months I’ve been on the just “drip-drip-drip drive him out of his fucking mind” theory. He’s not going to be removed from office, but just keep on a relentless drumbeat of corruption/incompetence/senility and wear him out. I figure he’s flying on “two neurons held together by a spirochete”, so keep pushing.

Absolutely need to keep the pressure coming. A heart attack any time in the near future would send his supporters over the edge with accusations of attempted murder. Thinking about using my One Time on that.

Do you think there’s a shot he loses it tonight and starts firing people left and right? The Wednesday Night Massacre. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be the person Trump is taking this out on in person.

Mick Mulvaney is running like 14 agencies. He might get the brunt.

I believe this also makes him the first president to be impeached during their first term.

I understand Nancy is trying to balance and such, and I’m back to mostly liking her political instincts, so I’m cool with no dunking from the podium today. But he needs to be trolled viciously now and forever over this, it’s something that even a re-elect shouldn’t be able to erase. Tweets like that, A+. Was Obama ever impeached? Nah, you lose “sir”.
