All that matters is the 2020 election. And I agree Goebs80 that this is the largest cult in US history and literally nothing is moving these people off their belief of Trump as savior. He could be raping their grandmother in front of them and they would be praising him for his virility. To someone like that there is, and has always been a 0% chance anything like this will move the needle.

Already seeing a lot of democrats on twitter attacking people like Chris Murphy who are questioning the authorization of this action and the implications.
We have to understand that the military is the engine that drives the US. It drives our federal government, our spending of tax money and is used to being the masses into line when things get hectic.
Pretty sure they won the war with Iraq In the 80s even when we backed the other side. Also pretty sure that they just got done winning the war in Iraq lolol. We’re 0-2 vs these guys since the 80’s… which makes sense because it’s their back yard. I’m pretty sure if they invaded Mexico or Canada we’d pulverize them.

In the wake of so much overnight existential angst, pop bets like this are tempting. I think you are right. He will proclaim his own glory for another twelve hours or so. Then sometime tonight he’ll start complaining that no one sucks Trump off as well as he sucks himself. Presidential harassment!

I don’t think he wrote those tweets - there’s more than one properly constructed sentence, some with multiple clauses and they also make about as decent a case as you can make for it - so whenever he gets the phone back!

Unfortunately I suspect this entire Iran thing is nothing more complex from Trumps perspective than an attempt to get the news cycle off of the fact that his boat is leaking like the Titanic.
