I’d also recommend you read the replies to any Ilhan Omar tweet and see how many death threats she gets which are shrugged off, how many people this time in '16 were gleeful at Hillary keeling over etc.
Wookie posting about people being fine with villains dying was right. We just disagree how many people are fine with Trump as the villain.
At least Covid has graduated from the flu to the plague.
I can attest to having been on oxygen in the ICU while being fully capable of tweeting.
The Biden leaning moderate also takes some Schadenfreude from Trump possibly dying from COVID but is uncomfortable with people expressing that sentiment publicly.
Chris Christie hospitalized, has asthma
100% agree with this. It extends further to people who are far more liberal though. A lot of those people see themselves as humanists and value all human life.
I know some of these people but also know a few that are fine with it.
Jal,
I can assure you with asthma and pneumonia and on a high level of oxygen I can still tweet on my phone.
Not being able to breath is a horrible experience and I wouldn’t wish it on ALMOST anyone. Perhaps someone who hasn’t dealt with it all their life might struggle when faced with it at 74, but again it is pretty easy to tweet in such a scenario.
You would probably require direct medical intervention to put you in a position where tweeting wasn’t really possible.
Well, regardless of what happens with trump my gf and I received our ballots today and dropped off our ballots in the drop box at the local county supervisor of elections office. Two locked in votes for Joe in FL.
CNN says Christie “checked himself into the hospital for precautionary reasons”. Who among us can do that? Normal folk don’t get hospitalized at our own request.
He’s also getting the Remdesivir
Like that’s the reason he’s hospitalized? Or that’s a pre-existing condition?
Bet the chronic pink eye from eating out trumps ass doesn’t help either.
Preexisting condition
Bringing out the big guns.
He only has aches and a mild fever but as an overweight asthmatic he’s getting remdesivir.
As an overweight asthmatic, I sure hope I get precautionary remdesivir if I’m in that situation, but I’m pretty sure I get sent home with a hefty bill insurance won’t cover.
They are going to put you on oxygen flat out if your o2 is low. You do not have to report anything else so much as annoying you.
100% sounds like trump… (lol)
