The Pozzidency of Donald J. Trump: Typhoid Donnie's Slow Hypoxic Demise **Sweat Thread** (updated 100x/minute)

Having asthma doesn’t make you an expert here. While they are both lower respiratory diseases, asthma typically doesn’t result in hypoxia until you’re pretty close to death. COVID has a completely different pathogenesis that results in different clinical paths.

Your pony went out like Stan Chera.

Like it or not the forum did repel him and I don’t know where your argument against that statement even begins. Certainly not with his own words.

Ok? Feel free to dance in the street when the day comes.

Ingraham has a curious alleged dating history. D’Nesh D’Souza. Keith Olbermann. Larry Summers. Lindsey Graham. I believe the first two are confirmed and the latter two are not.

There’s a very serious issue I’ve yet to see brought up, and that’s what the line is going to be for Trump to transfer authority to Pence.

While it won’t be a problem to make that call if he’s intubated and on a ventilator, COVID does some weird ass shit. People get delirious all the time, whether from the hypoxia or some sort of direct CNS involvement I don’t know. This is especially common in his age group.

If he’s on a non-rebreather or BIPAP, I doubt he’d be able to string a few sentences together much less decide things coherently… not like that stopped him before he had covid but ya know what I mean.

The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: GOPozz Party

Yuv coming from nowhere to shoot up my skalansky poster rating list. I’m 300 posts behind. Slow down, you bastards.

No, I wasn’t referring to you - it’s a shame that the courage you show in acting on your beliefs isn’t mirrored by other equally principled posters.

I’d characterise both of them, from what I know of them from their posting here, as generally kind and caring people - exactly the type of person the left needs to attract imo.

Before anyone jumps in with the inevitable straw man, no I’m not talking wrt Trump’s illness.

I like where this is going. Maybe “Grand Old Pozzy”?

Ha. Has Trump guaranteed it’ll be a peaceful transfer of power?

Yeah the fact that this isn’t being addressed is a huge failure in leadership.

Didn’t realize Trump was a huge Che fan

It probably happens about a week after Trump is dead, and only until the press corps, through anonymous sources, has triangulated to the fact that the president is no longer alive, and the WH has to admit as much.

The fact that this hasn’t been addressed is entirely intentional. The default assumption is that Pence won’t be given control until it is impossible not to. And that doesn’t necessarily start when he is intubated. It’s starts when they can’t hide that he’s on a vent…probably.

Maybe in your book. But for #TeamTrump even discussing it is weakness. They must maintain the appearance of strength at all times no matter the consequences. That is what good leadership means to them.

Weird tangent - but Ted Nugent once tweeted he wasn’t afraid of the virus because he knew “exactly what to take if he gets it”. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t talking about HCQ because he’d be more than happy to publicize that.

I wonder if it was one of the things Trump is on. Like maybe there’s some hush hush thing that went around in right-wing rich/elite circles to make them think they had a magic shield. We know Cramer told Trump (apparently in secret) to take the antibody cocktail.

C’mon it’s going to be something dumb like “a knee in Church you godless liberals”.
